[TUT] Making a .exe extractor/Installer Useing WinRAR. [TUT]

In this guide i will show you how to make a winrar installer/Extractor

My test file will be named .exe test, In this guide i will ALSO Show you how to put a password on a .rar file or the .exe file with out the password the file is unaccessable by extracting or just opening with winrar.

Guide starts now

1. Find your file your going to make the installer/Extractor
This is going to be the file I use as my "Example"


2. Right click the file and choose Add to Archive,

When you open "Add Archives" You should see this,


3.Click, Create SFX Archive. That will make it a .exe file.
Then click on Advanced then Set password.

I have clicked show password so you can see the password is "test" you can click the "Show password" Uncheck it for it to be in asterkey
Encrypt file names they wont be able to know exactly what it is without putting in that password at all. when you have picked your password click ok.

4.Advanced SFX Options, You will see this.

The path to extract. if create in program files.. Lets just use killerzone as a example real quick...
Path to extract We would put "KillerZone508" Then when they click to open this it installs into there program files and the file that was just installed will be called killerzone508.. The setup program We would say "Run after extraction" we would put i belive somthing like "C:\Program files\Killerzone508\Runserver.bat" For it to run server after the extraction. Anyways these are not fully exact u may just have to put in Runserver.bat not full link to it.

5.Then press ok! now you have your .exe archive... Now iwill show u what happens when i click what i have made...
