suggestion for mods

recently there have been some spammers and i have been able to get there names... but i cant ipban them. its annoying as they keep on going untill the server shuts down so i was thinking mod could be able to ipban. this is just a suggestion though

In all servers
Mods can only:
Mute
IP Mute
Jail
---------------------------
While adminss can:
Do everything a mod can do +
Ban
IP Ban

So you're basicly saying, mods should have admin powers.

no. muting doesnt work and mods can ban and unban + unjail. im just asking if mods could be able to ipban as it would keep the server clean. admins would still have greater power.

Yes, Brandon is currently working on a fix for muting. And I do not think Brandon has coded a ban for Moderator yet, so lets see ;p

A bit off topic, but I should be forum mod...I am probably the one whos most on it dispite not being able to play...anyways, how bout mods can ban IPs for 1 hour? this way when roymustang or Brandon gets on they can see what happened

agreed with the 1 hour ip ban, that way theres no abuse, and there can be a good check on reasoning behind the ip ban...good idea...now if it will take who knows.

if its 1 h ip ban than right after iped they can ip again. i would rather set up it so if 1 mod ip bans a player nothing happens but if 2 mods go together on a decision it will ip them.
